Many of us are career-driven. But at the same time, we also want a fulfilling romantic relationship.
This past week I hung out with dozens of millionaire business owners at the Entrepreneur Experience conference in San Diego, an event put on Amy Porterfield.
While the conference was all about building successful online businesses, in the margins I kept hearing about the relationship struggles of these otherwise successful people. Building a business (or climbing the career ladder) takes considerable mental and emotional energy, and it often plays havoc with our relationship life.
For those of us who are already married, the question is whether our priorities are balanced enough to maintain our most important relationships. For singles, though, there’s a further question: does dating even make sense during this time of chaos?
If this is a pressing question in your life, I encourage you to watch my video with dating coach Laura Lee Wood about identifying when a career is getting in the way of your relationship life–and what to do about it.
If you find the video helpful, you also will want to download the full interview I did with Laura Lee that covers many additional topics around dating as a career-focused person.
